Elbow joint is one of most important joint for daily activities. Elbow Pain is often caused by overuse since elbow joint always moves in every day to day activity. Many sports activities, occupational activities requires repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements. The main reason for elbow pain is due to arthritis, or pain post fracture of the arm or forearm.
Including fractures, dislocations etc.
Where micro trauma occurs due to overuse. This includes Tendonitis, medical & lateral epicondylitis. Tendonitis is the inflammation in the tendons of a muscle due to overuse, this probably occurs to people who require to do repetitive activities of the arm. Mostly activities like, grasping, throwing, painting, needs repetition resulting in the inflammation & pain in the tendons of the elbow. Inflammation of biceps or triceps tendons is commonly seen.
Commonly known as Tennis Elbow. The extensor muscles of the wrist & fingers originate from lateral epicondyle so in this condition, it is difficult for the person to perform tasks involving wrist &/or finger extension. The repeated motions in sports increase risk of tennis elbow, especially if the stroke techniques are poor.
Commonly known as Golfer’s Elbow. Pain is present in the inner aspect of elbow, with tenderness from where the wrist flexor muscles originate. So the activities involving these movements give rise to pain. Pain may be present while shaking hand. Grip strength may become weak in most cases. This can occur from poor form or overdoing sports like golf, baseball, sports involving throwing like javelin also it can occur during weight training with poor techniques. Activities where twisting of wrist are repeatedly required lead to this condition.
The repeated movements & stress to the tissue may result in a series of tiny tears in the tendons leading to these conditions.
Inflammation of the bursa, which lie surrounding the joint of the elbow. Pain & swelling occur over the rear of elbow. Pain may be present while leaning on the elbow and moving the elbow joint to straighten or bend the arm. This inflammation occurs due to triceps muscle/tendon rubbing over the Bursa & causing friction against the ulna bone.

Very Pathetic Experience. I had taken my Mother for Frozen shoulder. Doctor told to cure her within 15 treatments. But her pain goes on increasing. He gave her such heavy exercises that has caused to increase in the pain. Charges are very costly. Strictly No.
