A strain is an injury of a muscle and/or tendon. Tendons are fibrous cords of tissue that attach muscles to bone. The injury occurs when muscle fibers tear as a result of being overstretched. A strain is often referred to as pulled muscle. Chronic strains are the result of overuse (prolonged, repetitive movement) of muscles and tendons. Inadequate rest breaks during intensive training precipitates a strain. Acute strains are caused by a direct blow to the body, overstretching, or excessive muscle contraction.
A sprain is an injury of a ligament which is often caused by trauma, more specifically when the joint has been taken beyond its functional range of motion. The severity of the injury can range from a minor injury that resolves in a few days to a major rupture of one or more ligaments requiring surgery and a period of immobilisation.
Common symptoms include pain, decreased range of motion (stiffness), swelling and/or bruising, or weakness. Because muscle and ligamentous tissue is affected with these injuries, strengthening is essential to have a complete recovery, return to sport/activity and to prevent possible recurrence of pain or injury.

Had a very bad experience. I called before going at the clinic and asked them if I could come now. She said that I could and didn't inform me about the timings. Apparently I was only called for consultation and had to come back for session in the evening. What a waste of time and money. I was charged 300rs for consultation where as I didn't need one. I just had a slight neck sprain. Only needed few exercises to release the pain. Very bad management and coordination. Never going back.
Great they have the audacity to speak to their patients this way. Clearly it shows how they are. I left my feedback because you guys have bad management. You can keep defending it by calling me names. But a bad review will stay a bad review. I will make sure to spread the word.
PS WHILE LEAVING I DID MENTION I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS CLINIC AGAIN. FORGET ABOUT EVENING.

You guys are hilarious. Don't try and threaten me with a legal action. I rest my case with the explanation I have given above. I am not going to repeat it again and again that I didn't know about your closing time as it was not informed to me. Try and learn how to take a constructive criticism instead of arguing constantly.
I never took any appointment for today evening so stop lying. I told the doctor then and there that I am never coming again. And stop talking like you are doing some social services. I very well paid you for the 10 minutes I spoke to your doctor.
I had a bad experience and my family, relatives and friends will never revisit this clinic. Period.

Dr Vigil's clinic is the best physiotherapy clinic I have visited so far for my mom's knee pain treatment. I could see positive results within 15 days. Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Jasmine for her efforts and hard work. Highly recommended. Great gesture and hospitality.
