An Early age of growing kids are seen sitting in W position. But very few parents are aware that sitting in ‘W’ position is bad for growing kids and cause many problems in future.
As a parent, you may have noticed how your little ones seem to enjoy sitting in one position for longer time.
The popular ‘W’ position is when kids (and sometimes adults) sit flat on their bottoms with their legs splayed out to each side, knees bent and feet pointing outwards – forming the letter ‘W’.
Why is it bad?
The ‘W’ position in particular can throw the lumbar spine, or lower back into too much of an arch, which can cause pain.
This position can also put pressure on the developing joints of the lower body such as hips and knees.
Hypermobile children sitting in ‘W’ position overstretch their joints and also weaken the trunk muscles since they are not required to be as active.
Pressure on the neck, shoulders and upper back is built up while sitting in W position for longer time.
As it is kids spends too long watching TV or carrying heavy bags which automatically increases tension in these areas.
Kids should avoid sitting with their legs crossed so that same leg does not cross over each time that can ultimately lead to an imbalance in the alignment of the body.

Was very apprehensive initially seeing this young gentleman... Later He proved me wrong from the very first session... He knew his subject well and a master in his skills.. This is certainly different from others physio...
Personal attention.. Good listening ear....motherly care... Friendly advice.... Fatherly strictness.. All in one place...

My mom(Sunanda) suffered from.Frozen shoulder and the doctor relieved it 75% on the first day itself. They had confirmed 15 days for treatment however within 10 days she was perfectly fine. Their behaviour hospitality is much appreciated. Recommend it to my friends and family.

Hello. This is Kiran Sharma. I undertook Dr. Vigil's advanced physiotherapy session a few months back to treat my slip disc.
