Interferential Current (IFC) is a physical modality that is typically used to help relieve pain over a specific area of the body. The IFC machine produces an electrical current that stimulates the nervous system to interrupt the pain signals felt by the brain. The engineered frequency of IFC crosses the skin with greater ease and with less stimulation than with TENS, and is generally more comfortable and better tolerated by patients. It also allows to stimulate deeper tissue.
This type of treatment will not fix an injury in itself and should be seen as a short term option. The decrease in pain that the IFC offers allows us to continue moving and functioning as comfortably as possible until the root cause is identified and fixed.
There are some very good physio therapists. They take care of their patients and aid in their recovery from illness. I only gave them a four-star rating because I was dissatisfied with the size of the clinic, the level of congestion, and the outdated nature of the beds and clinic.
If not, they deserve 5 stars
I went for foot therapy and was very impressed with the knowledge of my therapist and all the instruments they have , the only thing I would recommend is if they can start early by an hour to allow for working people to come to the clinic
I went for an knee ACL degenerations.. Very happy with th treatment given by the physio.. Extremely good recovery without meds..Spending almost 45 minutes with each client.. Good work Dr.
