LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) is the application of red and near infra-red light over areas of injury or lesions to change the cellular activity. By increasing cellular metabolism, this will improve wound and soft tissue healing, help to reduce inflammation and give relief for both acute and chronic pain. This type of modality can be beneficial for minor injuries such as sprains or strains, or even for general aches and pains.
This type of machine is of low level intensity meaning that although during the application you will feel the device against your skin, it doesn’t create any heat, sound or vibration. This application is completely non-invasive and is painless. The laser is placed directly over the injured area for 30 seconds to several minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated and the dose provided by the laser unit.
There are some very good physio therapists. They take care of their patients and aid in their recovery from illness. I only gave them a four-star rating because I was dissatisfied with the size of the clinic, the level of congestion, and the outdated nature of the beds and clinic.
If not, they deserve 5 stars
I went for foot therapy and was very impressed with the knowledge of my therapist and all the instruments they have , the only thing I would recommend is if they can start early by an hour to allow for working people to come to the clinic
I went for an knee ACL degenerations.. Very happy with th treatment given by the physio.. Extremely good recovery without meds..Spending almost 45 minutes with each client.. Good work Dr.
