Neck Pain is most common pain and once in life span everybody experiences neck pain. There are several reason for neck pain. But most common reason for prolonged neck pain is your bed and Pillow. It is very important to choose proper pillow to avoid neck pain. A right pillow gives support to neck that helps to keep neck in alignment during sleep.
Many of us are unaware about usage of pillow and how to select right pillow for them? Due to gap in knowledge most of us use unsuitable pillow, which leads to stress in neck and suffering from neck pain. Through this article I will provide some tips to selecting perfect pillow as per conditions and requirements.
Before buy any pillow, it is important to check right height and firmness of person’s size and sleeping position, otherwise even you buy clinically perfect pillow than also you may suffer from neck pain.
Sleeping positions are a major factor in determining the best kind of pillow. Sleeping on the back or side, if possible, is advised for those with neck pain. The pillow are available in market with different size as per sleeping position so it is very important to select pillow considering the sleeping position and height of pillow.
Those who sleep on back they need bit low pillow. The ideal pillow for this position is rolled
shaped pillow under neck. You can get specially design rolled shaped pillow in market. The roll
give neutral alignment to neck and reduce the stress over neck.
Most of us tucked pillow under shoulder to feel better of comfortable, this position is ideal if you
have muscle pain in neck. You can keep pillow under knees to reduce strain on lower back.
Those who sleep on side they need to use a pillow which is bit higher. A higher pillow keeps neck and head in proper alignment. Higher pillows need to have rolled shaped so it can support neck and head with proper alignment.
To make this sleeping posture more comfortable you can add additional pillow between knee so spine gets additional support and reduces neck pain.
Sleeping on stomach is not recommended and if possible avoid it. Sleeping on stomach may invite many health problems and muscle strains. It is difficult to change the habit so till you change habit stop using pillow while sleeping on the stomach. Adopt proper posture and pillow for sleeping.
Most of us sleep in sitting position on chair or sofa while on road trip or aircrafts with no option we sleep on reclining seats. This position is not favorable position to sit and won’t provide support to neck or spine.
It is advisable that while sleeping on chair use small pillow which can fit in gap of neck and support neck properly. Be sure while selecting neck pillow.
For frequent road or air traveler one should carry neck pillow whenever they do travelling. It is very much important that before you start travelling you should select proper size of pillow.
We know no one sleeps in same position for longer time and hence the sleeping posture may change time to time. There is no control over here. For this you select pillow which can easily be fitted to any sleeping position and support neck and spine properly.

One of the best places for Physiotherapy. The doctors know and understand the patients issues and resolve it correctly. Currently undergoing treatment for Back Pain and it's reduced considerably. I'd highly recommend.

My experience with Dr. Vigil's Advanced Physiotherapy was good. I had severe back pain since last 8 months. Due to my busy schedule I am not able to go any treatments.
Before come to Dr. Vigil's Advanced Physiotherapy clinic I have tried two physiotherapy in Andheri near to my office. Unfortunately both failed.
But here at Dr. Vigil's place the process treatment is different. Dr. Vigil is having advanced shockwave machine which do faster healing process.
After week physiotherapy my backpain almost gone. Now as directed I am going gym and with his guidance I have recover from my prolonged back pain.
My personal advice to everyone who has back pain and looking for solution than Dr. Vigil is doctor you looking for complete treatment.

When considered effectiveness of this doctor's treatment I can say it's really good. But on the other hand the cost of treatment is really high. 700₹ per session and I was recommended 21 sessions for my backpain.
